Why Digital?

 So why digital?

That is the question everyone seems to be asking these days, for starters going digital opens us all up to a new way of communicating, and thanks to technology, working as a team has never been made easier.

For employers going digital means they are able to gain a greater visibility of how their employees are performing in their career and whether projects are on schedule to be completed on time or whether or not people are falling behind, when used correctly, digital technology can be an excellent tool for all parties.

For Activity (A): I found that the info-graphic doesn’t personally represent me as a member of the health and social services workforce in Scotland, however I suspect it would be very representative for others. For me personally digital technology isn’t something I massively rely on in my career. However it is essential for other members of the health workforce.

Nurses, doctors and auxiliaries etc, all rely on digital software in order to provide high quality care and keep record of the care of their patients. It is important that everyone in the workforce is clued up digitally. You may not rely on it massively but you will eventually encounter it, therefore it is important you excercise your digital skills every now and then!

Thank you!
